From Our Bike Riders

 

By riding our bicycles from Buffalo to New York City for the annual State Conference for the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling (NYSACAC) we hope to raise $10,000 for one of the organization's flagship programs, Camp College.  NYSACAC is a not for profit organization comprised of high school guidance counselors and college admission counselors who are committed to serving students and their families in the transition to post secondary education.  Through this ride, it is our hope to not only raise money for Camp College, but to also raise an awareness of all the positive things this organization does for counselors, students and families who are making the transition from high school to post secondary education. 

Camp College takes place twice during the summer and is not cheap to run.  The program is completely dependent on donations and fundraising events.  We hope this bicycle ride will help give Camp College a solid financial framework in which they can build on for the next couple of years.  NYSACAC is a hard working volunteer organization and Camp College is one of the many outstanding programs they help coordinate. Any financial donation you can make supporting our ride will be much appreciated by the NYSACAC Executive Board and all the students and families Camp College serves.
